Vilniaus senienų muziejus ir Vilniaus laikinoji archeologijos komisija Lietuvos valstybės istorijos archyvo dokumentuose

LTEustachijaus Tiškevičiaus veikla ir jo įkurtas Vilniaus senienų muziejus (VSM) ir Vilniaus laikinoji archeologijos komisija (VLAK) - neabejotinai vienas svarbiausią XIX a. vidurio kultūrinių reiškinių Lietuvoje. Nors VSM ir VLAK istorija pastaraisiais metais sulaukia ne vieno tyrėjo dėmesio, tačiau dauguma jų dažniausiai naudojasi Vilniaus universiteto bibliotekos ir Lietuvos mokslų akademijos Vrublevskių bibliotekos rankraščių rinkiniais. Šiame straipsnyje gilinamasi į dokumentus, susijusius su VSM ir VLAK, saugomus Lietuvos valstybės istorijos archyve. Didžioji dalis dokumentų apie VSM ir VLAK veiklą saugoma Vilniaus generalgubernatoriaus kanceliarijos ir Vilniaus švietimo apygardos valdybos fonduose, bet pavienių dokumentų yra ir kitų, žemesnio rango institucijų fonduose. Susipažinus su bylų dokumentais paaiškėjo, kad esminė informacija patvirtina jau žinomus, įvairių šalių istorikų ištirtus VSM ir VLAK istorijos ir veiklos aspektus, bet susirašinėjimo dokumentai pateikia ne tik daug naujų aspektų ir detalių VSM ir VLAK istorijos ir veiklos bei jų globėjo ir vadovo E. Tiškevičiaus biografijos tyrėjams, bet ir atskleidžia plačią to meto kultūrinio ir politinio gyvenimo panoramą. Daroma išvada, jog LVIA saugomas dokumentinis paveldas savo turiniu ir gausa prilygsta sukauptajam kitose institucijose. LVIA saugomi istoriniai šaltiniai dar menkai įtraukti į mokslinę apyvartą, todėl gilesnė jų analizė suponuoja poreikį parengti išsamų šių dokumentų katalogą.

ENEustachy Tyszkiewicz activity and the The Vilnius Museum of Antiquities (VMA) established by him and the Vilnius Temporary Archeological Commission (VTAC) are undoubtedly one of the most important cultural phenomena in the middle of the 19th century in Lithuania. Although the history of VMA and VTAC has attracted more than one investigator in recent years, most of them mostly use manuscripts from the Vilnius University Library and the The Wroblewski Library of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. This article focuses on documents related to VMA and VTAC stored in the Lithuanian State Historical Archives. Most of the documents on the activities of the VMA and the VTAC are kept at the Vilnius General Governor's and Vilnius County Education Board funds, but individual documents are also available in funds of other lower-ranking institutions. Having become familiar with the documents of the case, it became clear that the essential information confirmes the already well-known aspects of the history and activity of the VMA and the VTAC investigated by historians from different countries, but the correspondence documents provide not only many new aspects and details of the history and activities of the VMA and VTAC and their patron and head E. Tyszkiewicz biographies, but also reveals a wide-ranging panorama of cultural and political life of that time. It is concluded that the documentary heritage preserved by the LVIA has its content and abundance equal to that accumulated in other institutions. The historical sources kept by the LVIA are still poorly integrated into the scientific circulation, therefore, their deeper analysis implies the need for a comprehensive catalog of these documents.
