ENAccentual power of declinable word inflexions is analysed in the morphonological aspect. In some cases, accentual power depends on a certain phonological structure of inflexion, whereas in other cases it does not. Inflexions can be of four types: 1) weak non-attractable, 2) strong non-attractable, 3) weak attractable, 4) strong attractable. The relations between the accentual paradigm and inflexions arc determined. No inflexion of the first accentual paradigm gets the stress. Only attractable (both strong and weak) inflexions of the second accentual paradigm are stressed. The stress falls on strong (both attractable and non-attractable) inflexions of the third accentual paradigm. Strong (both attractable and non-attractable) and weak attractable inflexions are stressed in the fourth accentual paradigm. Finally, the accentual peculiarities of pronouns and adjectives are discussed. [From the publication]
