Several essential issues, that reflect scientific problem, become apparent under the circumstances of recent labor market: do the participants of social system and educational, vocational work equally evaluate the country policy from the standpoint of vocational-social adaptation of the individuals with moderate intellectual impairment? In what ways should the propitious interaction of educational, economic and social policy be attained? Thereby it would aid a disabled person to adapt to vocational-social environment. The aim of the investigation, which focuses on the policy of the Lithuanian labor market in respect to the individuals with moderate intellectual impairment, is to establish factors that would help to achieve the optimal interaction of educational, economic and social policy. The following methods were applied in the research work: scientific literature and documentation analysis of the European Union, study of educational, vocational and social system participants’ views on the state labor market policy (survey, N-760); and modeling of the optimal interaction of educational, economic and social policy. The results of the investigation revealed that vocational training of young people with moderate intellectual impairment is positively estimated. In addition, the tension attribute of the vocational training of the disabled was stated. Though most experts evaluate social state policy as insufficient. Two vocational rehabilitation aspects that are accepted by European scientists are not exercised in Lithuania: the first- assistance in getting a job, the second- support at working place. A terminated process of vocational rehabilitation is an inadequate result of the interaction of educational, economic and social policy. In this research the integrity and consistency of the state policy, considering its bearings in the EU educational, in particular social policy, is presented as the idea that would assist the disabled to acquire optimal effects in the vocational rehabilitation process.
