Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje sociolingvistiniu aspektu aptariami nominatyviniai adresato įvardijimai (NAĮ) oficialiojoje viešosios sakytinės vartosenos (VSV) atmainoje (remiamasi reprezentatyvia TV visuomeninių – debatų, diskusijų – laidų generaline visuma). Nagrinėjama, kokie sociolingvistiniai veiksniai daro įtaką renkantis nevienodą socialinį atstumą ir netgi skirtingas mandagumo strategijas – distancinę (DMS) ar kontaktinę (KMS) – signalizuojančius nominatyvinius adresato įvardijimus, plg.: (ponas + ) pavardė / pareigos; (ponas +) vardas. ENThe article presents the analysis of nominative naming of the addressee in public interest talk programmes, which are classified as a case of public, official language usage. One of the three forms of address that were found to dominate in the sample was informal address based on name, which traditionally is not typical for this domain of language usage: (Mister +) name, (Mister +) surname, (Mister +) position title. This new phenomenon is most topical in the sociolinguistic point of view. Most important sociolinguistic factors, influencing the emergence of informal address by name, are: 1) phone communication, reinforced by another important factor – vox populi role; 2) degree of acquaintance, important for participants in the studio that are communicating face-to-face. Whether the opportunity created by these conditions will be taken, most of all depends on 3) performed situational role and 4) the degree of formality of the programme. Informal expression is mostly limited by the role of the host of the programme , particularly in the most formal style of programmes, political debates. In this type of programmes the contact strategy of politeness, which is typical for reallife communication between familiar partners and which involves address by name, is mostly used by programme guests participating in the role of experts.
