Kauno karininkų ramovės prezidento kabineto interjero konkursas: tautinio tapatumo aspektas

LTStraipsnyje pristatomas 1936 m. Kauno įgulos Karininkų ramovės prezidento kabineto interjero konkursas ir penki geriausiai įvertinti konkurso projektai. Pasitelkiant archyvinius šaltinius ir kitų autorių tyrimus sociokultūriniame tarpukario kontekste, apžvelgiamas prezidento kabineto įrengimo eigos diskursas bei, kreipiant dėmesį į tautinę raišką, aptariami jo interjero projektai. Dažniausiai taikant analizės, lyginamąjį, istorinį metodus, siekiama atskleisti dizaino ir tautinio tapatumo ryšį, taip pat užsakovo svarbą kuriant interjerą, tad tikimasi, kad vienam pagrindinių tarpukario Lietuvos reprezentacinių interjerų, prezidento kabinetui, skirta konkurso medžiaga leis pagilinti žinias apie unikalų valstybinės reikšmės paminklą - Lietuvos kariuomenės Kauno įgulos Karininkų ramovę - ir papildys Lietuvos interjero dizaino istorijų. ENWhile referring to archival sources, the interwar press and studies by other authors, the author of the current paper presents the contest for creating the interior design for the President's Cabinet of the Military Officers' Association held in 1936 in the socio-cultural context of Kaunas in the inter- war period, and Introduces the most favourably assessed projects by A. Gordevičius, S. Pacevičienė, J. Kova-Kovalskis, A. Gudaitis, and В. Bučas. The search for national identity was particularly relevant in the interwar period, and the paper analyses how it was perceived and conveyed by means of the ethnic style specially created for that purpose by Lithuanian artists. Design was also used as an instrument of consolidating and promoting the ethnic style not only for the aesthetic, but also for political and social purposes, which is obviously revealed by the contest of the interior design for the President's Cabinet of the Military Officers' Association, where the main criterion was to reflect the national character. Despite a large variety of projects created by different artists, national symbols, interpretations of folk motifs and scenes of monumental art promoting nationalism dominate in all of them. Great attention is also paid to the comments of the jury, which help to reveal the client's role in the creation of the artistic image of the interior. [From the publication]
