Grafinio dizaino studijų raida Vilniaus technologijų ir dizaino kolegijoje 1996-2012m.

LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiama 15 metų grafinio dizaino studijų raida, (nuo pirmosios studijų programos iki dabartinės). Aptariama šio laikotarpio aukštojo mokslo padėtis Lietuvoje, aukštojo mokslo demokratiškumo pagrindai, studijų pasirinkimas ir vertinimas, emigracijos įtaka aukštojo mokslo raidai. Apibūdinamas grafinio dizaino studijų dėstomų dalykų poreikio tikslingumas ir reikšmingumas, kolegijos grafino dizaino studijų absolventų požiūriu. Aptariama grafinio dizaino studijų pradžia Vilniaus technologijų ir dizaino kolegijoje. Nagrinėjami 15 metų laikotarpio grafinio dizaino specialistų poreikiai. Aprašomas tyrimas - VTDK grafinio dizaino absolventų apklausa, atlikta 2013 m. ENThe article covers the development of the graphic design study programme over the 15-year period (from the initial study programme to the present one). The overview of overall higher education situation in Lithuania is presented. The fundamentals of democracy in higher education, the selection and evaluation of studies, as well as the impact of emigration for the development of higher education are discussed. The substantiation of the demand and the importance of disciplines taught within the graphic design study programme are covered, based on the attitudes of college graphic design graduates. Firstly, the period in the work of the Vilnius College of Technologies and Design (VCTD) is discussed during which the studies of graphic design were introduced and developed. Then the demand for graphic design professionals over the last 15 years is given. The paper then presents the results of the study based on VCTD graduate students' survey performed in 2013. The generalisation of the survey results is made. Based on graduates' skill development over the 15 year period, the comparison and the evaluation of the need for graphic design study programme is performed; finally, recommendations for further development of the graphic design study programme are given.
