ENThe aim of the research was to determine which activities lead to the engagement of the students in therapeutical Physical Education classes. Methodological work is based on action research type. Playful activities were projected in accordance with following learning areas: cognitive, psychomotor and emotional. Research methods include a literature review, observation method, reflection. The study participants: 13-14 year-olds, 6 special educational needs students. The investigation revealed that more active students were engaged in motion games – in relay games. Just a bit different was students’ involvement into the game for psychomotor child’s development “Educational movement” and into the creative game “Brainstorm”. Investigation revealed that the pupil with special educational needs were more active where their skills were superior: more active students’ motorics were determined in the motion games- relay games; more active emotional expressions of students – in relay games; more active social interaction of students – in the game for psychomotor child’s development “Educational movement”.
