LTPristatomo fenomenologinio tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti tėvų išgyvenimus vaikui pradėjus lankyti ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigą. Tyrimui atlikti pasirinkta M. Van Maneno (1997) fenomenologinė strategija – kokybinio tyrimo sistema, grindžiama fenomenologijos filosofija, siekiančia atskleisti individo subjektyvią patirtį, jo išgyvenimus. Tyrimas remiasi devynių tėvų patirtais išgyvenimais, vaikui pradėjus lankyti ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigą.
