Literatūros almanacho "Varpai" epitekstas: autorių laiškai

LTStraipsnyje svarstomas epistolikos paratekstualumas. Tyrimo objektas – literatūros almanacho „Varpai“ 29-asis numeris (2013), kuriame paskelbta daugiau nei šimto rašytojų laiškai. Leidinio redaktoriui jie rašyti 1988–2013 metais. Lietuvoje gyvenančių ir išeivių rašytojų laiškai aptariami kaip visų išleistų almanacho numerių parateksto dalis – epitekstas, kuris praplečia „Varpuose“ publikuotų peritekstų ir tekstų reikšmes, veikia skaitytojų įvertinimus.

ENThe article discusses the paratextuality of the epistolary corpus which was published in the Lithuanian literary almanach "Varpai". The notion of paratext is taken from Gérard Genette (Seuils, 1987): "paratexts are those liminal devices and conventions, both within and outside the book, that form part of the complex mediation between book, author, publisher, and reader: titles, forewords, epigraphs, and publishers‘ jacket copy are part of a book‘s private and public history". The specific subject of the analysis is one issue (No. 29) of the literary almanach "Varpai" which published over a hundred letters written to the editor by various authors (1988–2013). The epistolary material holds a great interest for literary critics, however, it has value for a number of other reasons. In the article, all the letters are analysed as paratexts, i.e. the peritexts / epitexts which exist next to / beyond the literature.
