Sveikatos ir socialinės globos specialistų požiūris į poreikio priežiūrai standartizuoto vertinimo galimybes
LTŠiuo metu egzistuoja praktika, jog sveikatos priežiūros paslaugas namuose teikiantys specialistai, vertindami pacientų poreikius, kiekvienas gilinasi į savo sritį ir galimybes pagerinti situaciją, tačiau nesiekia holistinio sveikatos ir socialinių poreikių įvertinimo. Tad kyla klausimas, ar skirtingų specialistų namuose lankomo paciento poreikiai yra tinkamai vertinami. Tyrimo metu siekėme identifikuoti vyresnio amžiaus žmonių ir suaugusiųjų su ilgalaikiais sveikatos ir gerovės sutrikimais poreikio priežiūrai namuose vertinimo praktiką, naudojamų metodų įvairovę bei požiūrį į standartizuoto vertinimo galimybes, bei įvertinti socialinių darbuotojų, bendruomenės slaugytojų ir fizinės reabilitacijos specialistų požiūrį į kompetencijas, reikalingas visapusiškam poreikių vertinimui. Tyrimo metu buvo apklaustos trys respondentų grupės: bendruomenės slaugytojos, kineziterapeutai bei socialiniai darbuotojai, t.y 60specialistų, dirbančių skirtingose Kauno miesto socialinės priežiūros institucijose ir sveikatos įstaigose, kurių veikla susijusi su paslaugų namuose teikimu. Gauti duomenys leidžia teigti, jog didžiajai respondentų daliai vertinimas yra kasdieninės veiklos dalis. Respondentų atsakymų analizė rodo, jog specialistai, teikiantys paslaugas namuose, naudoja labai skirtingas metodikas, vertinančias asmens poreikius skirtingu aspektu, o tai riboja galimybes keistis informacija apie pacientą bei suteikti vertinimui visuminį pobūdį. Todėl apklaustųjų nuomone, teikiamų paslaugų efektyvumui butų naudinga ieškoti galimybių standartizuoti vertinimą bei keistis informacija apie pacientą. Didžioji dalis respondentų nurodė, jog siekiant visapusiškai įvertinti vyresnio amžiaus ar turinčių ilgalaikių sveikatos sutrikimų asmenų poreikius priežiūrai namuose, reikalingos labai įvairios kompetencijos, kurių tobulinimui daugelis yra pasirengę dalyvauti mokymuose. ENAt present it is common practice for qualified practitioners from health and social service organisations, who take care of elderly people and adults with long term conditions in patient's home, to assess the health and care needs from the point of view of a special Held without taking into account the holistic approach to health and social needs assessment. This brings up the question whether the people with complex needs are assessed properly. The aims of the research were to describe the current practice and the variety of the applied methods in assessment of health condition and care needs of patients suffering from complex medical conditions as well as to evaluate the possibilities to implement standardised assessment and to discuss the approach of qua lified practitioners (community л urses, social workers, physical therapists) to cornpct&nccs necessary for overall assesment of needs. The sample was comprised of three groups of respondents: community nurses, physical therapists, social workers, 60 professionals in total, working in various health and social services of Kaunas, providing service in patient's home. From the obtained results it can be inferred that the majority of the respondents conduct assessment of the health status of patients as a routine procedure.The analysis of the answers shows the heterogenety of the used tools which assess the needs of a person from different aspects. This limits the possibility to share the information about the patient among profesionals and to provide the overall character to the assesment. Thus, according to the respondents, in order to increase the effectiveness of the provided service it would be useful to look for possibilities to standardise assessment tools which would enable to share patients‘ data among professionals. The majority of the respondents pointed out that a great variety of skills are necessary in order to able to properly assess the needs of the elderly or patients with long term conditions in home settings.
