Lietuvos vėlyvojo paleolito kultūrų periodizacija.

LTSvarbiausias šio straipsnio tikslas – pateikti gerokai pakoreguotą ir šiandienos mokslo situaciją atitinkančią Lietuvos vėlyvojo paleolito gyvenviečių kultūrinę-chronologinę periodizaciją Šiaurės Europos medžiagos kontekste. Šiame darbe siekiama panaudoti naujausią tyrimų medžiagą, naujai interpretuoti įvairiuose Lietuvos muziejuose saugomas ankstesnių tyrimų kolekcijas, nustatyti vėlyvojo paleolito laikotarpiu (XI–IX tūkstm. pr. Kr.) Lietuvos teritorijoje egzistavusias archeologines kultūras ar jų grupes, pateikti kiekvienai kultūrai atstovaujančius pagrindinius objektus bei apibūdinti jų inventorių, kuo tiksliau apibrėžti atskirų kultūrų chronologines ribas, pabandyti nustatyti jų vidinės raidos etapus ir pagrindinius bruožus, atsekti kultūrų tęstinumą ir perimamumą. Straipsnyje analizuojamas tik Lietuvos gyvenvietėse surinktas titnaginis inventorius, o kaulo ir rago dirbiniai čia neaptariami, nes tiek jų kultūrinė priklausomybė, tiek datavimas yra gana problemiškas. Taigi šiame darbe beveik po 30 metų pristatomas naujas ir sistemingas vėlyvojo paleolito kultūrų raidos modelis, pagal kurį Lietuvoje, kaip ir visose Šiaurės Europos žemumų ruožo šalyse, remiantis gyvenviečių titnago radinių kompleksų analize ir gausiais gretimų kraštų analogais, ypač tiksliai datuotais kompleksais, vėlyvojo paleolito laikotarpiu išskiriamos 5 stambios kultūrinės grupės – Hamburgo, Federmeserio, Bromės, Arensburgo ir Svidrų.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Finalinis paleolitas; Hamburgo kultūra; Federmeserio kultūra; Bromės kultūra; Arensburgo kultūra; Svidrų kultūra; Final Pallaeolithic; Hamburgian Culture; Federmesser Culture; Brommean Culture; Ahrensburgian Culture; Swiderian Culture.

ENThe main aim of this article is to present a scientifically relevant and considerably amended cultural and chronological periodisation of the late Paleolithic settlements in Lithuania in the context of the data about Northern Europe. The present work aims to apply the latest research data and to reinterpret previous research collections stored in different Lithuanian museums as well as to define archaeological cultures and their groups which existed on the territory of Lithuania in the Late Palaeolithic (11th-9th millenniums BC). The article also devotes its attention to the objects representing each culture with further descriptions of their inventory and tries to define the chronological boundaries of separate cultures as exactly as possible. The author of the article also endeavours to define inner development stages of those cultures and their main characteristics as well as to trace their succession and transition. The article discusses flinty finds gathered in Lithuanian settlements leaving bone and horn artefacts aside, since it is rather problematic to date them and to define their cultural identity. Thus, after a thirty-year period, this work presents a new and systematic model of the Late Palaeolithic cultures, what makes it possible to single out 5 major cultural groups of the Late Palaeolithic in Lithuania as well as in all lowland countries of Northern Europe basing on the analysis of complexes of flinty findings discovered in settlements and analogue exactly dated and spotted findings in neighbouring countries. Those cultural groups are the following: Hamburgian, Federmesser, Brommean, Ahrensburgian and Swiderian.
