Mirties konceptualizavimas LDK baroko gedulingoje poezijoje

LTLietuvoje konceptualiųjų metaforų tyrinėjimai nėra naujovė. Kognityvinės lingvistikos atstovai tiria šiuolaikinę poeziją, tačiau lotyniškoji LDK poezija konceptualiųjų metaforų požiūriu dar nėra tyrinėta. Šio straipsnio tikslas – parodyti, kaip LDK gedulingoje poezijoje konceptualizuojama mirtis. Siekiant atskleisti mirties įvaizdžius pasirinktuose kūriniuose, taikytas konceptualiosios analizės metodas. Baroko epochoje ypač buvo paplitęs vaizdinis mąstymas ir nuomonė, kad kiekvieną sąvoką ar mintį galima išreikšti vaizdu. Gedulinguose LDK lotyniškuose tekstuose rastos konceptualiosios metaforos išryškina analizuojamo laikotarpio žmogaus pasaulėvaizdį. Iš pasirinktų baroko literatūros tekstųmatyti, kad mirties abstraktas kūrėjo sąmonėje dažniausiai konkretizuojamas galingomis, materialų pavidalą turinčiomis mitinėmis būtybėmis. Mirtis taip pat įsivaizduojama kaip kūną turintis žmogus, reiškiantis emocijas – džiaugsmą, pavydą, pyktį. Dažniausiai pasitaikanti abstrakčioji mirties kaip kelionės metafora konceptualizuojama išvykimo-atvykimo motyvais: MIRTIS–IŠVYKIMAS (žemiškojo gyvenimo pabaiga), MIRTIS–ATVYKIMAS (pomirtinio arba naujojo gyvenimo pradžia). ENConceptual metaphor research in Lithuania is not a novelty as cognitive linguists research contemporary poetry. However, the Latin poetry of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is not yet studied in terms of conceptual metaphors. This article aims to show how death was conceptualized in 16th-century to the end of 17th century mourning poetry in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The survey is conducted by employing the method of conceptual analysis. The studies of mourning poetry reveal how the concept of death was perceived in those times. Visual thinking that was particularly common in the Baroque era represents the belief that every concept or idea can be expressed by the image. The profusion of metaphors found in mourning texts of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania help in understanding the Baroque worldview. The selected literary texts reveal that the abstract of death is concretized as powerful mythical beings of a tangible form (Parcae, Reaper). Death is also represented as the face, hands and feet of a person with various emotions – joy, envy, anger. Death usually is given the role of a robber. The concept of travel is one of the most important metaphors were death is considered as a DEPARTURE (the end of one life) and ARRIVAL (the start of next life). [From the publication]
