ENThis article discusses the two seals attached to the secret 1380 Agreement of Dovydiškiai, which Grand Duke Jogaila of Lithuania concluded with the Teutonic Order. The essence of the problem is that various opinions concerning the ownership of the seals have prevailed until now since the first of them has been almost entirely worn off with only fragments of the legend surviving and the second due to the legend written with Cyrillic characters was illegible to many. After analysing all the known seals of Grand Duke Jogaila, it was established that he attached to the Agreement a so far unpublished seal, which was the second one he had ordered made and which was almost unknown to sphragistics researchers. This seal is very important to the sphragistics of the Lithuanian rulers since this was the first of Jogaila's seals, which was created in accordance with the traditions of Latin culture. Later all the dukes elected as the rules of Lithuania manufactured Western-style seals for sealing documents. The legend written with Cyrillic characters and the symbolism (oblique arrow-like cross) of the second seal and other analyses allows the opinion, established in literature since the time of Marian Gumowski (1930), that this seal belonged to Duke Skirgaila of Lithuania to be rejected and the conclusion drawn by Antoni Prochaska in 1909 that this is the seal of Jogaila's comrade-in-arms and brother-in-law Vaidila to be confirmed The established ownership of the seals allows one to speak more clearly about the principle onriniscrs of the secret Agreement which was directed against Dulce Kęstutis of Trakai.
