Be to, įvertinama, kokie reikalavimai yra pateikiami istorijos brandos egzaminų programoje, ir nustatoma, kokias Fenoskandįjos istorijos žinias bei gebėjimus mokiniai privalo pademonstruoti istorijos valstybiniuose brandos egzaminuose. ENThe article studies the coverage of history of this region and its geographical subjects in modern secondary schools in Lithuania. The article refers to the curriculum of Lithuanian secondary schools and the standards of education and aims to determine what historical issues of this above mentioned region and its separate parts must be discussed in modern Lithuanian schools. The article considers what the authors of modern history course books write about the past of this region at present in Lithuania. The biggest importance is placed to review the information found in history course books in a basic school. In addition, the article identifies what requirements are to be met in the program of the history state exam. Having completed the analysis of various education documents and having reviewed the majority of history course books used in Lithuania's schools and the tasks of the history state exam, it turned out that the term of Fen Scandia has not been used either in the curriculum of secondary school, history exam or in the tasks of the history state exam. The information about separate subjects of this region in history course books is not consistent and it is included in the course books on the authors' initiative. The most popular topic of Fen Scandia's subjects analyzed in course books is the period of Vikings and their relationship with the Baltic. A big attention is devoted to the Lithuanian-Swedish wars of the 17th century, North and Winter wars, also to show the position of Scandinavian countries in regard to international organizations - the EU and NATO. At least one question related to the history of these countries has always been included in the history state exam. Therefore, there is no presumption to state that the history of Fen Scandia's subjects is ignored in Lithuania. It might seem that students may find it difficult to form a consistent view about this region or its parts, but the provided information in the course books reveals the episodes of this region states and territories in the context of the most important historical events in the world or Lithuania.
