ENThe greater part of art teaching pedagogues with higher education qualification diplomas often give up their long cherished mission of an enlightener because when contacting their pupils they experience professional inferiority, realise the lack of professional competence, i. e. they do not feel spiritually safe and psychologically comfortable at school. That is why unqualified representatives of other professions though with higher pedagogical education are raised; why suffer immense moral harm (broken dreams) themselves in the first place, and then the state experiences big financial losses. The article analyses the subject of raising art pedagogues and the ways making this process optimum at an institution of higher education, focusing attention on the improvement of preconditions for preparing secondary school music teachers at the contemporary institutions of higher education. The aim of this publication is to reveal out the causes of professional failures that occur in preparing pedagogues, at the same time giving recommendations of educational character (matter and methods) how to eliminate them. This intention is realized by revealing new practical methods of the personal meaning of the understanding work, emotional imitation, and other methods. [From the publication]
