LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiama mokinių tėvų požiūrio kaita į vaikų mokymosi rezultatus ir galimybes mokyklos reformavimo laikotarpiu (1988 - 1995 m.). Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad tėvai nėra abejingi švietimo sistemos kaitai ir galėtų (norėtų) artimiau bendrauti su mokykla. Pateikiamos išvados ir siūlymai kaip toliau vykdyti mokyklos reformą (šalinti išryškėjusius negatyvius reiškinius), kad mokinių tėvai jaustųsi esą visaverčiai mokyklos bendruomenės nariai. ENHaving the aim to determine the attitude of students' parents towards educational phenomena during the period of school reforms we explored their attitude towards their children's (ninth- and twelfth- formers) results and Possibilities. We interrogated 8351 respondent from 4 different regions of Lithuania. The results of the interrogation prove the following: 1) there is a link between Parents' education and their children's studying efforts (good results motivation) evaluation; parents of higher education state that their children are more dilligent at school; 2) most parents (40-48 %) state their children are able to achieve better fesults with the exception of some subjects; 3) every tenth or thirteenth respondent indicate that their children would not attend school at their own will, This is the result of economic and social changes having taken place during the lotion period.
