Urbanistinė viešosios erdvės tipologija ir jos elementai sovietmečio Klaipėdoje

LTŠio straipsnio tikslas – apžvelgti Klaipėdos miesto urbanistinę raidą viešosios erdvės aspektu. Nagrinėjama tema apima 1945–1990 m. laikotarpį, sutampantį su LTSR egzistavimo ribomis. Tekste aiškinamasi, kokios buvo miesto viešosios erdvės formos ir kaip jos sąveikavo su bendrąja urbanistine struktūra. Tiriama visa viešosios erdvės kaip neužstatytos miesto dalies sistema, nenagrinėjant dviejų didžiausių jos posistemių – gatvių tinklo ir želdynų. Viena vertus, šis apribojimas atsirado dėl ribotos teksto apimties. Antra, šias posistemes galima tirti ir kaip atskirus objektus. Pirmame skyriuje aptariami koncentruoto ir išsklaidyto tipo miesto viešųjų erdvių elementai – aikštės, skverai, alėjos, krantinės ir pasažai. Antrame skyriuje kalbama apie mažąsias architektūros formas – paminklus, skulptūras, fontanus. Jos nagrinėjamos kaip ideologizuoto ir lituanizuoto vietinimo urbanistinėje struktūroje pasireiškimai. ENThe aim of the present article is to review the urban development of the city of Klaipėda from the viewpoint of public spaces. The topic under discussion includes the period between 1945 and 1990, which coincides with the existence of the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic. The author of the text analyses the forms of the city’s public space and their interaction with the general urban structure. The attention is focused on the entire system of the public space as an undeveloped part of the city without touching upon two of its largest subsystems – street network and landscaping. On the one hand, they were not included due to the limited length of the text. On the other, these subsystems can be analysed as separate objects. In the first part of the article, the elements of the city’s public spaces of the concentrated and dispersed types – piazzas and squares, alleys, embankments and passageways – are discussed. In the second part, forms of small-scale architecture – monuments, sculptures and fountains – are explored. They are analysed as manifestations of ideological and Lithuanian acculturation in the urban structure. The article ends with conclusions. [From the publication]
