Archyviniai duomenys apie Jacobo Neukircho lietuvišką Bibliją ir žodyną

LTStraipsnyje aptariami Prūsijos kultūros paveldo Slaptajame valstybiniame archyve Berlyne rasti trys dokumentai, kuriuose rašoma apie ligi šiol lietuvių raštijos istoriografijoje neminėtą Jacobą Neukirchą (po 1620 – po 1683) bei jo darbus lietuvių kalba – Biblijos vertimą ir žodyną. Neukircho rankraščiai datuojami 1674 m., parengimo vieta – Įsruties apskritis. Biblijos vertimas bei lietuviškoji žodyno dalis parengti Mažosios Lietuvos pietinių vakarų aukštaičių patarme. Pirmojo šių darbų vertintojo Erhardo Waldecko jaunesniojo, lietuvių kunigo Karaliaučiuje, laiškas Prūsijos kunigaikščiui Frydrichui Vilhelmui liudija, kad Neukircho darbai buvo nemažos apimties, tačiau turėjo trūkumų: jie kritikuoti dėl tarmės, rašybos ir struktūros. Nei Neukircho Biblijos vertimas, nei žodynas išspausdintas nebuvo, o rankraščių likimas nežinomas. Straipsnyje pateikiamos turimos žinios apie Neukirchą, aptariama jo Bibliją ir žodynas remiantis straipsnyje skelbiamų archyvinių dokumentų duomenimis. Minimi Waldecko kunigaikščiui rekomenduoti Neurichto darbų recenzentai – trys Mažojoje Lietuvoje dirbę kunigai. Jų recenzijos arba laiško šia tema nerasta. Iš reikalavimo kuo greičiau įsakymą įvykdyti galima spėti, kad veikiausiai būta planų Bibliją ir Žodyną skubiai išspausdinti. Straipsnyje publikuojamos trijų archyve rastų rankraštinių dokumentų faksimilės, perrašas ir vertimas į lietuvių kalbą. ENThe article discusses three documents found in the Secret State Archives of Prussian Cultural Heritage in Berlin. They were dedicated to Jacob Neukirch (after 1620 – after 1683), who has never yet been mentioned in the historiography of Lithuanian written texts, and his works published in the Lithuanian language – the translation of the Holy Bible, and a dictionary. Neukirch's manuscripts date back to 1674, and were written in the region of Įsrutis. The translation of the Bible and the Lithuanian part of the dictionary were prepared in the subdialect of southwest aukštaičiai in Lithuania Minor. The letter from Erhard Waldeck the Young (Lithuanian priest who had been working in Konigsberg and was the first one to evaluate these works) to the duke of Prussia Friedrich Wilhelm detail that the works of Neukirch were quite large in length, but also had some problems: they were criticised for the dialect and mistakes in grammar and structure. None of Neukirch works were printed, and the manuscripts were lost as well. The article provides the current information on Neukirch and discusses his translation of the Bible and his dictionary using the data from archived documents. It also mentions the reviewers of Neukirch's works, recommended to the duke by Waldeck – three priests who had worked in Lithuania Minor. Neither their reviews nor the letter on this topic were found. The demand to follow the order immediately suggests that there were plans to have the Bible and the dictionary printed out as soon as possible. The faxes of the three archived documents, together with their rewrites and translation to Lithuanian are published in the article. The two letters of Neukirch may play a significant part in the analysis of the writing of anonymous Lithuanian documents, and the identification process of their authors.
