Summary / Abstract:

LTTyrimo objektas – kalendorinių švenčių tematika sukaupta etnografinė medžiaga Vilniaus universiteto bibliotekos Rankraščių skyriaus 81 fonde, Vilniaus universiteto kraštotyrininkų klubo „Ramuva“ rankraščiai 169 fonde ir Lietuvos istorijos instituto bibliotekos rankraštyno Etnologijos skyriaus fonde. Tyrimo tikslas – remiantis inventorinių knygų įrašais, aptarti minėtuose rankraštynuose esančias etnografinės medžiagos bylas apie kalendorines šventes, atlikti jų kiekybinę analizę. Peržiūrėtos minėtų rankraštynų inventorinės knygos, suregistruotos bylos kalendorinių švenčių tema, išanalizuotas surinktos etnografinės medžiagos pasiskirstymas pagal atskiras šventes, nustatytas bylų pasiskirstymas bėgant laikui ir etnografinės medžiagos rinkimo intensyvumas. Darbe naudotas matematinis medžiagos apdorojimo, lyginamasis, analizės metodai. Svarbiausias kriterijus registruojant bylas iš inventorinių knygų – bylos pavadinimas. Autorė atrinko tas bylas, kurių pavadinime yra žodžiai „šventė“, „kalendorinės šventės“ arba pateikiamas konkrečios šventės pavadinimas, su kalendorine švente susijusi tradicija. ENThe object of the research is the materials of calendar festivals which have been collected at the Manuscript Department of the 81st Fund of the Vilnius University Library (further VUB RS, f, 81, b...), the 169th Fund of the Ethnography Club “Ramuva” of Vilnius University (further VUB RS, f. 169, b...), and the fund of the Ethnology Department of Lithuanian History Institute (further IIES, b...). The aim of the research is to discuss the ethnographic materials about calendar festivals found in the manuscripts and to make their quantitative analysis. Striving to achieve the mentioned aim, several inventory books of manuscripts have been investigated, the files containing the topics of calendar festivals have been registered, the division of ethnographic materials according to different festivals has been analyzed, as well as the division of files according to the time and intensity of gathering of ethnographic materials has been established. Mathematical, comparative and analitical methods have been used while processing the materials. The most important criterion during the registration from the inventory books has been the name of the file. Consequently, the author has selected those files where the words “festival”, “calendar festivals” have been found, and a specific name of the festival or traditions related to the festivals have been observed.Based on the inventory books, the following numbers about calendar festivals have been registered: 74 files at the 81st Fund of the Manuscript Department of Vilnius University Library, 32 files at the 169th Fund of the Ethnography Club “Ramuva” of Vilnius University, and 234 files at the Ethnology Department Fund of Lithuanian History Institute. Following to the problematics of the aforementioned inventory books registration, and the fact that the file name does not always reveal the content of the manuscript, the fragmented data about calendar festivals and the names not related to the festival have been found in the documents. For this reason the number of files and the factual amount of information is different. Too general and broad file names such as “Calendar Festivals”, “Traditions of Calendar Festivals” etc. prevail in all three manuscript inventory books which have been analyzed, consequently, it was very difficult to establish the division of ethnographic data according to specific calendar festivals. Generalized names of files demonstrate a former prevailing tendency of gathering ethnographic materials about several calendar festivals at a time. [...]. [From the publication]
