ENThe article discusses the way of expressing political culture of the early Modern Times - parliamentary rhetoric. The relevance of this problem to the investigations into parliamentarianism of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the second half of the 16th - the first half of the 17th century, the problems arising and possible ways of solving them are highlighted. Attention is focused on the group of sources, which enables the investigation into rhetoric of the Seimas of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania during the period under discussion to be carried out - the journals of the Seimas of the Kingdom of Poland and the Republic of the Two Nations, and the speeches recorded in them. The supplement - the speech delivered at the Seimas by the Duke Janusz Radziwiłł of Biržai and Dubingiai, Cup-bearer of the GDL, at the sitting of closing the Warsaw Sejm in 1613.
