LTTurizmas yra svarbi paslaugų ekonomikos dalis. Tyrimai parodė, jog miesto turizmo konkurencingumas yra miesto konkurencingumo elementas, kur nagrinėjant atskirai galima gilesnė ir išsamesnė analizė. Miesto turizmo konkurencingumas yra miesto gebėjimas pabrėžti savo patrauklumą turistams, teikti prekes bei paslaugas turistams geriau už kitus miestus. Konceptualiajame miesto turizmo konkurencingumo modelyje miesto turizmo konkurencingumas yra formuojamas vidinės bei išorinės aplinkos veiksnių. Vidinę aplinką sudaro turizmo verslo, išteklių bei infrastruktūros veiksniai. Šie elementai veikia vienas kitą ir tuo pačiu yra veikiami išorinės aplinkos veiksnių. Išskirti miesto turizmo konkurencingumo vidinės aplinkos veiksniai, nurodomi įvairūs jų vertinio matai. ENObject of the research: factors of tourism competitive ness. Aim of the research: following a theoretical study of the concept of urban and tourism destination competitive ness, to exclude city tourism competitiveness factors of the internal environment. Tasks of the research: to research the concept of tourism destination competitiveness, to investigate to concept of urban competitiveness, to describe city tourism competitiveness and the conceptual model of city tourism competitiveness, to exclude city tourism competitiveness factors of the internal environment. Methods of the research: comparative, structural and logical analysis of scientific literature. Researchers who have analyzed tourism destination competitiveness confirmed its importance and emphasized that it is related to the well-being of local people. Tourism destination competitiveness is associated with the area's ability to provide goods and services to tourists better than others can. Depending on the location chosen for the as sessment of competitiveness there should be a selected set of factors of competitiveness. The study has showed that a variety of research of urban competitiveness does often emphasize the attractiveness of the city for tourism, and tourism-related factors of urban competitiveness. It can be argued that a city's tourism competitiveness is an element of urban competitiveness or its factor, which can be more widely and comprehensively analyzed separately. [...].The main city tourism competitiveness factors of in ternal environment were excluded and different measures for its evaluation indicated. All these factors can also be evaluated qualitatively, but in this case the specific quality criteria should be defined to avoid a subjective evaluation. For the city's tourism competitiveness evaluation, the competitiveness factors must be reviewed additionally, since according to its peer cities, some factors can become meaningless or some additional factors may occur. The indicators for all competitiveness factors must be selected and the period of the data used for evaluation should be defined. Due to the lack of statistical data, some factors may also fall away.
