ENMaterials in the collections of the History Museum of Lithuania Minor allow us getting acquainted with A. Brakas creation, life and activities, as well as with the fate of his family after the Second World War. There are several photos in the collections of the museum that depict A. Brakas activity in the associations "Santara", "Aida", "Aukuras", as well as in other associations during the years 1919-1939 and his pedagogical work in Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium. The collections also have many publications illustrated by A. Brakas, cards created by him, a diploma by the association "Santara" and the painted masterpiece created in Kaunas around 1940. Most materials are from the family of the elder son Tautvydas Brakas that was given in 1990-1991. These materials consist of 204 protected units that can be grouped in several groups. Photos (90 pieces). Among the photos one can see family pictures made_during the years 1930-1938 and A. Brakas' public activity moments. The biggest collection of photos is from Tautvydas Brakas' life in exile in Bijsk, Krasnodar. Archive materials.These are mostly T. Brakas' personal documents: birth certificate, copies of graduation certificate of Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium, a sheet of military service in 1939, documents of the period between 1945-1965 from learning and work activity in Syberia, Krasnodar, documents on life and activity in Lithuania during 1967-1989. Among the documents one can see a copy of A. Brakas' certificate of death and T. Brakas' request on the rehabilitation of A. Brakas to the Prosecutor's Office of RSFSR in 1989. Here you can find significant T. Brakas' memories about his farther, A. Brakas' students' and contemporaries' thoughts about A. Brakas' personality and public activity recorded by T. Brakas in 1984-1985. Letters. A valuable heritage includes letters (82 units) written by Marija Brakienė to her son Tautvydas in 1969-1982. M. Brakienc's letters are written in a vivid language and they reflect the moral values acquired from Klaipeda's region native Lithuanian (lietuvininkai) and distinctive attitude to the changes of the post-war period. These letters reflect the tragedy of the post-war period of the family and of the inhabitants of the whole Klaipeda's region. Among the letters one can find Ramūnas Brakas' letters written to Tautvydas Brakas in 1985-1989 and T. Brakas correspondence with the researchers of Lithuania, journalists and relatives.
