ENAgnė Brandišauskienė and Elvyra Martišauskienė emphasize in their article that the dominant attitude towards persons with special educational needs is not very favourable. Many factors cause it (type of disability, education, age, sex, social experience). The attitude of the 9-10th grade students towards persons with special educational needs appeared to be more favourable than unfavourable. The most favourable attitude was towards people with visual and hearing impairment as well as motor disorders while the least favourable attitude was towards people with behavioural (emotional), mental disorders or complex disability. The data of the research allow claiming that the respondents' attitude towards persons with limited possibilities to act is not yet completely set. [From the publication]
