LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamas vidurinės ir profesinės mokyklos mokinių požiūris į technologinio ugdymo ir technologijų brandos egzamino svarbą ateičiai. ENThe paper analyzes the aims of the technological education and technology maturity exam from the point of view of secondary and vocational school students. The results of the theoretical study of technological education preparing students for the future have been analyzed in the context of technological education, technologies as a subject and technology maturity exam programmes. Effective technological education not only helps to solve the problems of youth career choice, but is also the basis of human resource development. The article reveals how technology maturity examination, which assesses the achievements of students’ techno-logical education, correlates with the aims of technological education bringing them to the practical implementation. The link between the aims of technological education, technology maturity exam as well as the attitude of students (high school and vocational school) towards technologies as a subject and technology examination has been emphasized.
