LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama asmenybės veiksnio politines organizacijos veiklos srityje svarba, telkiant dėmesį į lenkų komitetą Vilniuje, susiformavusio 1916 m. pradžioje iš įvairių vietos lenkų politinių partijų ir organizacijų. Akcentuojami lenkų ekonomisto ir politiko prof. Władysławo Zawadzkio Pirmo pasaulinio karo metu rašyti politiniai memorialai, turintys atspindėti Lenkų komiteto poziciją Lietuvos ateities klausimu ir parodant vokiečių okupacinei valdžiai Lietuvos lenkų politinių ir socialinių sluoksnių potencialą bei svarbą sprendžiant šio krašto ateities problemas. Straipsnis pagrįstas archyvine medžiaga iš Lietuvos Mokslų Akademijos Rankraščių skyriaus, keliais W. Zawadzkio parašytais memorialais, rašytais Lenkų komiteto pavedimu. Kas rodo, jog nors jie ir išreiškė bendrą visų Komiteto narių poziciją, vis tik autorius darydamas prielaidą akcentuoja W. ENThe article tackles the importance of the individual agent in the political stage and pays a lot of attention to the polish committee in Vilnius that was formed in the beginning of 1916 from various Polish political parties and organizations. The emphasis is made on the memoirs of the polish economist and politician professor Władysław Zawadzki that were written during the First World War. The memoirs reflect the position of the Polish committee on the question of Lithuania’s future and demonstrate to the German occupational government the potential and importance of polish political and social groups in solving the upcoming problems of the country. The article is based on the archival materials from the Manuscript department of Lithuanian Science Academy, several memoirs of W. Zawadzki commissioned by the Polish committee. Even though the text portrays the common position of the committee members the author emphasizes the specific of W. Zawadzki political thought.
