LTStraipsnyje teoriniu aspektu analizuojama socialinių pedagogų profesinio nuovargio bei nuovargio prevencijos problema. Empirinio tyrimo duomenų analizė atskleidžia 30 socialinių pedagogų, dirbančių skirtingo tipo ugdymo įstaigose, iš įvairių Lietuvos miestų požiūrį į profesinį nuovargį. Apibendrinus literatūros ir atlikto empirinio tyrimo rezultatų analizę, formuluojama pagrindinė išvada: didelis darbo krūvis, nepakankamas dėmesys profesinio nuovargio prevencijai sukelia socialinių pedagogų nuovargį vykdant profesinę veiklą, daro neigiamą įtaką jų darbo, asmeninio bei šeimyninio gyvenimo kokybei. ENSocial teachers have the most important aim – to secure children‘s social-psychological welfare. It is a pitty that social pedagogues‘ work is not as effective as it should be in Lithuania. This disadvantage can be because of the big work strain that social teachers have and they can not do their duties properly. Nowadays there is not so much attention paid on the analysis of tiredness and problem – solving of this reason. According to Leliugiene I., Rupsiene L. and Bausyte A. (2003) professional tiredness – is one of the most actual problems of the social pedagogues’ professional development. The analysis of the professional development and unsufficient attention to it is presented in this bachelor thesis. There were 30 social workers from various cities of Lithuania who participated in the research. They work in different types of education institutions. The methods of the research that were applied: literature analysis, questionnaire, statistical data – processing. The aim – to make analysis on the social pedagogues’ symptoms of professional tiredness and its prevention.The research has shown the analysis of the social pedagogues‘ work strain and helped to find out the influence of the professional tiredness to the social teachers‘ work, their health, personal and family life. What is more, it has emphasized the level of this problem – solving in education institutions. The main conclusions from the literature analysis and the results of the empirical reseach can be drawn: the social pedagogues‘ work strain exceeds the quotas of the limits of human opportunities and influences the problem of tiredness in these specialists’ professional development; the enlarged work strain has a negative downside on the quality of the specialists’ work, personal and family life; the unsufficient attention is paid on the prevention of the social pedagogues‘ tiredness.
