Suaugusiųjų laiko perspektyvos sąsajos su sveikatos kontrolės lokusu ir pasitenkinimu gyvenimu

LTMokslinėje literatūroje laiko perspektyva siejama su sveikata ir su ja susijusia elgsena (Keough et al., 1999; Fingerman, Perlmutter, 2001; Adams, Nettle, 2009), tačiau nebuvo rasta tyrimų, kuriuose laiko perspektyva būtų siejama su sveikatos kontrolės lokusu. Mūsų žiniomis, Lietuvoje taip pat nėra atlikta tyrimų, kuriuose būtų nagrinėjamos laiko perspektyvos ir pasitenkinimo gyvenimu sąsajos. Šiuo tyrimu buvo siekiama ištirti suaugusiųjų laiko perspektyvos sąsajas su sveikatos kontrolės lokusu ir pasitenkinimu gyvenimu. Tyrime dalyvavo 223 suaugusieji (nuo 19 iki 90 metų). Tyrime taikytos metodikos: Zimbardo laiko perspektyvos klausimynas (Zimbardo, Boyd, 1999), Daugiamatė sveikatos kontrolės lokuso skalė (Wallston et al., 1978) ir Pasitenkinimo gyvenimu skalė (Diener et al., 1985). Apibendrinus tyrimo rezultatus prieita prie tokių išvadų. Nustatytos statistiškai reikšmingos sąsajos tarp beveik visų (išskyrus ateities) laiko perspektyvos subskalių ir sveikatos kontrolės lokuso subskalių suaugusiųjų amžiaus grupėje. Nustatytos statistiškai reikšmingos suaugusiųjų negatyvios praeities, hedonistinės dabarties ir ateities laiko perspektyvos subskalių ir pasitenkinimo gyvenimu sąsajos. ENRecently, more and more scientists underline the importance of time perspective for a person‘s life (Fieulaine, Martinez, 2010; Kairys, 2010; Robinovich et al., 2010; Gao, 2011; Gruber et al., 2012). Researchers linked time perspective with health and health-related behaviours (Keough et al., 1999; Fingerman, Perlmutter, 2001; Adams, Nettle, 2009). Nevertheless, despite an increasing number of studies, there are no articles examining connections between time perspective and health locus of control. To the best of our knowledge, there are no articles analysing connections between time perspective and satisfaction with life in Lithuania. The aim of current research is to study the relationship between time perspective with health locus of control and satisfaction with life among adults. Three methods were used in this research: the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI; Zimbardo, Boyd, 1999) was used to evaluate time perspective; the Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale (MHLC; Wallston et al., 1978) was used to evaluate health locus of control; and the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS; Diener et al., 1985) was used to evaluate satisfaction with life.The total amount of participants in this research survey was 223 adults aged between 19 and 90 years old. 57 % of participants were women and the remaining 43 % were men. The results of this research revealed statistically significant correlations of almost all subscales of time perspective (the past negative, the past positive, the present fatalistic and the present hedonistic) with subscales of health locus of control (the internal, the chance and the powerful others). Moreover, the results of this research revealed statistically significant correlations of the past negative, the present hedonistic and the future time perspective subscales with satisfaction with life among adults.
