Postkomunistinė visuomenė ir jos intelektualiniai elitai
LTPostkomunistinės visuomenės, jos mentaliteto ir veiklos įpročių tyrimo svarba yra kaip niekad aktuali. Sociokultūriniai ir politiniai procesai šiandieninėje Lietuvoje rodo, kad, nepaisant oficialių institucijų skelbiamos socialinės pažangos, tebesame įklimpę į niūrų ir atgrasų praeities paveldą, įgavusį naujas, dažnai dar ciniškesnes formas. Postkomunistinėje tikrovėje praeitis taip stipriai persmelkusi ne tik visuomenės, bet ir jos intelektualinių elitų mąstymo ir veiklos įpročius, kad veikia tarsi konservantas, stabdantis sociokultūrinę kaitą ir pilietines iniciatyvas. Šiame straipsnyje apsiribojama vienu šios problemos aspektu ir bandoma išsiaiškinti, kaip postkomunistinėje visuomenėje funkcionuoja jos intelektualiniai sluoksniai, kaip jų veikla ir pozicijos keičia sociokultūrinį klimatą ir kas intelektualiniams elitams trukdo atitikti demokratinės visuomenės jiems keliamus reikalavimus. Straipsnyje siūloma intelektualinių elitų tipologija ir atskleidžiami, kuo šie elitai skiriasi nuo vakarietiškų, atkreipiant dėmesį į kitokią elitų genealogiją, vaidmenis ir statusą visuomenėje. Pristatomos intelektualinių elitų mentaliteto savybės – įpročiai ir laikysenos – postkomunizmo sąlygomis, pabrėžiamas skirtumas tarp „kritiškų intelektualų“ ir tų, kurie atstovauja buvusią, bet šiandien naują statusą įtvirtinusią komunistinę nomenklatūrą. ENThe importance of researching the post-communistic society, the mentality and activity habits of it has never been more relevant. The sociocultural and political processes in modern Lithuania show, that despite the social advancement declared by the official institutions we are still deeply stuck in the gloomy and abhorrent heritage of the past, which assumed new and often even more cynical forms. In the post-communistic reality, the past has deeply pierced not only the habits of thinking and activity of the society, but also its intellectual elite, and now it acts as if a preservative that stops the sociocultural change and civic initiatives. This article limits itself with one aspect of this issue and tries to explain how in the post-communistic society its intellectual layers function, how their activity and positions change sociocultural climate and what precludes the intellectual elites from conforming to the requirements raised by the democratic society. The article proposes the typology of intellectual elites and discloses the differences of these elites from Western ones, by paying attention to other kind of genealogy, roles and status in the society of these elites. The mentality qualities of the intellectual elites– habits and standings – in the conditions of post-communist era are introduced, a distinction between "critique intellectuals" and those, who represent the former, but today new status enshrined communistic nomenclature, is made. A conclusion is made that during the current decades the Lithuanian map of intellectual elites has greatly differed, however, there exist influential groups associated with the previous regime, which still control the disbursement of state resources in the area of culture.
