ENRecently in management literature great attention is paid to personnel competences. The author made a theoretical analysis of scientific literature which resulted in several conclusions. The success of services organization largely depends on the employees' competences. Considering many factors affect the process of services, making it unique and unrepeatable, therefore services providers' have high requirements. Competency can be understood as a unit of knowledge, skills and abilities, which allows to work effectively in a certain situation. Has been presented the research of competence levels, sorts, and the competence structure of services providers'. Structural analysis of competence theory and specialties of services providers' activities, a model of competency is given, which covers most important competences to services providers': pedagogical, cognitive, consumer understanding, culture and basic - communication.
