LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjama mokslo taikomųjų tyrimų reikšmė tobulinant studijų kokybę Klaipėdos verslo ir technologijų kolegijoje. ENKnowledge economy is one of essential aspirations of Lithuania and many other countries. The science organizations perform the main role in stimulating innovations, creating and applying knowledge. Studies' quality's assurance and improvement, researches implementation are very important goals of Lithuanian education system. Science applied researches (SAR) in KVTK are executed by plans. Main directions of SAR are compatible with KVTK studies' programs, and correspond with the needs of the region. Students and teachers opinions researches helps to estimate teaching methods, to improve studies programs and methodical means, to achieve higher level of studies' quality. The results of employers', social partners', graduates' opinions and career research allows to change the content of subject, to include newest scientific and practical achievements, to prepare specialists, who are able to adapt themselves to changes of labor market.Students' science research methodology skills are formed through SAR execution and students scientifical-practical conferences. SAR creates conditions for college executives to express and improve themselves. The intensification KVTK SAR productivity and dispersion of results is revealed, and this helps to exchange information and to expand partnership with other science and business organizations.
