Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnis supažindina su Lietuvos sakralinio paveldo Vilniaus Sv. Stepono bažnyčios interjero restauravimo ir atkūrimo pasiūlymais ir sprendimais. Bažnyčia buvo pastatyta XVII a. pradžioje, tačiau iki šių dienų renesanso laikotarpį liudijančių interjero elementų neišliko, o baroko palikimas smarkiai sunykęs. Bažnyčios interjero vidaus įrangos ir polichromijos atkūrimo siūlymai parengti kaip VDA magistro studijų baigiamasis (diplominis) projektas: autorė - Renata Kalvaitytė, darbo vadovas - prof. dr. Jonas Glemža, projektas remiasi atliktais tyrimais ir analogais. ENRenaissance church of St. Stephan was built in Vilnius at the beginning of the 17th century. Later Baroque side altars, pulpit and choir loft were added to the interiors of the church. In the 19th century the building was deserted, turned into a warehouse and its environment was transformed into industrial area. Having returned the church to Vilnius diocese, its exterior restoration was begun in 2005. The high altar did not survive in the interior of the church. The other altars, pulpit, choir loft were damaged. R. Kalvaitytė, MA of Vilnius Academy of Arts, Prof. J. Glemža, the scientific adviser, prepared the project for restoration of interiors of this church, using the method of fragmentary restoration. It is suggested to recreate the high altar using the methods of stylistic restoration and interpretation. [From the publication]
