Straipsnyje siūloma mintis, kad autoriaus i kamieno veiksmažodžių vyr. g. veikiamųjų dalyvių vns. vard. galūnėje balsio nazalizacija turėjo būti tokia silpna, kad šias formas imta painioti su deverbatyviniais ijo kamieno daiktavardžiais (plg. neregįs ir neregys). Todėl Bretkūnas, suvokdamas, kad nebylys yra veiksmažodinės kilmės veikėjo pavadinimas, kartais sukurdavo dalyvį primenančią hiperkorektišką vns. vard. formą su nosiniu balsiu galūnėje. [Iš leidinio]
ENIn the flexion of the word “nebylys” in its singular and in the nominative case Jonas Bretkūnas sometimes writes with the dot below or , as if it was a nasal vowel. The article offers the idea that the nasalization of the vowel in the flexion of masculine active voice participles of the “i” stem nouns in their singular and in the nominative case was so weak that the forms were started to be confused with the deverbative nouns with the stem “ijo” (plg. “neregįs” and “neregys”). Therefore Bretkūnas, being aware that “nebylys” is a denotation of an agent of the verbal origin, sometimes created a hypercorrect form of its singular in the nominative case with a nasal vowel in the flexion, reminiscent of a participle.
