ENDifferent arguments are a natural and integral part of public relations. Between the various entities (both individuals and groups of persons) certain disagreements arise every day. Generally disputes arise when several people at the same time are trying to implement their own personal needs. As regards the legal relations, disputes between legal entities arise when one of the legal entity in the implementation of its interests violates the rights or legitimate interests of the other legal entity. The results of such disputes may be very different. One of them is that the person commits a criminal offence. For the actions (or omission), which are contrary to the law, each stale has its own appropriate sanctions. One of the strictest sanctions is a custodial sentence. 'Ihe alternatives of this sentence are the mediation of the crime victim and the perpetrator. Ihe mediation institute is applicable In the world and its goal is to resolve the dispute between the crime victim and the perpetrator, which has arise because of the criminal ofTence.
