Pilietiškumas ir tapatumas šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje

LTTarpdisciplininis ir tarpkryptinis mokslo ir tyrimų klasteris „Pilietiškumas ir tapatumas šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje" vienija 39 Vytauto Didžiojo universiteto mokslininkus, dirbančius sociologijos, socialinio darbo, antropologijos, psichologijos, socialinės politikos, viešojo administravimo ir edukologijos studijų kryptyse. Tiek tyrimų projektuose, tiek gausiose mokslo publikacijose klasterio dalyviai analizuoja pilietiškumo apraiškas skirtingose Lietuvos gyvenimo srityse, socialinio ir pilietinio dalyvavimo, naujų socialinių tapatybių konstravimo modelius, lietuvių nacionalinio identiteto raiškos būdų įvairovę, lyčių santykių ir lyčių (ne)lygybės institucionalizacijos būdus, socialinės atskirties grupių (iš)gyvenimo patirtis, jų įgalinimo strategijas bei socialinės sanglaudos stiprinimo procesus. Klasteryje atliekamų mokslo tyrimų rezultatai ypač reikšmingi vietos, nacionalinėms ir tarptautinėms institucijoms, tiesiogiai užsiimančioms užimtumo, lygių galimybių, skurdo mažinimo, sveikatos, švietimo, šeimos, tautinės tapatybės, socialinės politikos formavimu ir vykdymu. ENResearch conducted by the scholars in this research cluster corresponds to the priorities in research on information society of the European and Lithuanian Scientific Research and Experimental Development: citizens and governance in information society and the preservation of national identities under the conditions of globalization. The cluster unites 39 scholars of Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania, working in the fields of sociology, social work, anthropology, psychology, public policy, public administration and education sciences. This conducted research reveals difficulties, opportunities and changes in social and civic participation in different social contexts in Lithuania; it contributes to the understanding of the models of identity construction and their diversity within changing cultural, economic and political conditions; it helps to identify groups that encounter social exclusion in contemporary society, to learn about the reasons for their exclusion and to investigate their strategies of survival. Researchers in this cluster have published numerous studies, have participated in a great number of research projects and have prepared recommendations on how to reduce social exclusion and to ensure civic participation and vitality of different social groups. They have also developed measures for empowering socially excluded groups, assessing the quality of social services and analyzing policies of social welfare. Results of the research in this cluster are particularly significant for the local, national and international institutions directly engaged in the formation and execution of policies related to employment, equal opportunities, poverty réduction, health, family and national identity.
