Šiaurės žemaičių Skuodo zona : tekstai su komentarais

LTKnyga parengta remiantis kelių gretimų šiaurės žemaičių telšiškių šnektų – Skuodo, Mosėdžio, Barstyčių – medžiaga, kuri rinkta 1973–1991 metais. Tarminiai tekstai pateikiami specialia fonetine rašyba ir išsamiai komentuojami. Beveik visi tada įrašyti tarmės atstovai dabar jau mirę, todėl visi jų pasakojimai apie praeitį ar autentiški tautosakos tekstai laikytini ne tik kalbos, bet ir etninės kultūros paminklu. Gaila, kad patys tarmės įrašai dėl tų laikų techninių aplinkybių nėra išlikę. Pateikėjų vardai ir pavardės skelbiami remiantis knygos autoriaus pomirtine valia. Knyga skiriama pirmiausia lingvistams, bet ji bus naudinga ir tautosakininkams ar etnologams. Literatūros istorikus turėtų sudominti itin gyvai perteikiami atsiminimai apie žymų mūsų poetą Vytautą Mačernį. Tekstais su komentarais galės naudotis humanitarinių specialybių studentai ir doktorantai.

ENThe book has been compiled on the basis of the material on several local dialects of neighbouring Northern Samogitians from Skuodas, Mosėdis, Barstyčiai, collected in the period 1973–1991. The dialectal texts are provided in a special phonetic spelling with detailed comments. Nearly all the dialect representatives recorded at that time are already dead; therefore, all their stories about the past or authentic folklore texts should be considered a monument of the language and ethnical culture. Unfortunately, the recordings of the dialect have not survived due to technical circumstances of that time. The names and surnames of the speakers are published in respect of the author’s will expressed prior to his death. The book is intended for linguists, but it will also be useful for folklore specialists or ethnologists. Literary historians’ interest will be stirred by a very lively presentation of the memories about famous Lithuanian poet Vytautas Mačernis. Students of humanities, as well as those pursuing a doctoral degree, will have an opportunity to use the texts with comments.
