Įvietinto šiuolaikinio meno teorinis diskursas

LTŠiuo straipsniu norima pristatyti vieną iš šiuolaikinio meno krypčių – tyrimas susijęs su įvietinto šiuolaikinio meno teoriniu diskursu. Analizuojant šiuolaikinio meno kūrinius, fiziškai ir semantiškai susietus su vieta, kurioje pastarieji įkurdinti ir/arba ją konceptualiai reflektuoja, teorija gali tapti racionaliu pagrindu juos aiškinantis ir interpretuojant. Straipsnio aktualumą vietiniame kontekste nurodo ne tik analizių šia tema trūkumas, bet ir nuo XX a. 9-10 dešimtmečių sandūros lietuvių menininkų dėmesys vietai, kurioje kūrinys pristatomas arba specialiai jai, atsižvelgiant į jos savybes, sukurtas. Kūrinio susiejimas su konkrečia vieta neretai tampa menininko tapatumo bei šiuolaikiškumo ženklu. Šiame straipsnyje vietą konceptualizuojančią kūrybą siūloma įvardyti „įvietinto meno“ terminu. Atsižvelgiant į tai, jog kūriniai, pritaikyti vietai, neturi puošybinės ar memorialinės paskirties, nėra vietai indiferentiški ir savireferentiški, jais nesiekiama „nuvietinti“ vietos, atvirkščiai, per sąsają, tiesioginį kontaktą norima išryškinti realios, fizinės vietos savybes ir jas įprasminti meno kūrinyje. Straipsnyje nagrinėjama Miwon Kwon, Jameso Mayerio ir Nieko Kaye studijos ir straipsniai, kuriuose jie išskiria ir aptaria įvietinto šiuolaikinio meno tipus, jiems būdingus bruožus bei savybes. ENSite-specific art is an occurrence exceptional to contemporary art, containing in it a concept of post-disciplinary art. The concept of artwork associated with a site is fundamental in all aspects - the artists idea, exploring the site, accomplishing the artwork and the theory backdrop. This particular art based on the bond between artwork and site, which appeared in Western Europe and United States in the 1960s., is noted in the work of minimalist, conceptualist, land art, installation and process art (performance, actions, body art). The five models of site-specific art, discussed in the article are: a "here and now" site, a site as an institution, a site as a social circumstance, a decentered site and a site as a community. These models demonstrate the development of this specific contemporary art practice starting from a specified site where the art presented on the site is closely bonded to the site and therefore it takes its physical parameters into account, developing into an "expanded" model when not just the site, but also a wider institutional and social context is considered. Finally, the decentered (being completely disconnected from the physical parameters and even from contemporary art problems) site emerges or a closer relation with the local site community could be sought. This development in the site-specific art is acknowledged as a shift from the 1960s site-specific art concept towards a narrative site-specificity and collective creative activity. In the article, the site-specific art models and their features are arranged chronologically, but these features are often interchangeable and simultaneous definitions, applicable to the art projects and even to the single artwork.
