LTPublikuojamas iki šiol dėmesio nesulaukęs Lietuvos III Seimo, dirbusio 1926-1927 m., prezidiumo 1936 m. rugpjūčio 27 d. posėdžio protokolas. Kadangi 1927 m. balandį paleidus III Seimą net devynerius metus nebuvo renkamas naujas Seimas, III Seimo prezidiumas, vadovaudamasis Seimo nuostatomis, tarpseiminiu laikotarpiu (1927-1936 m.) laikė save teisėtu ir savo veiklą baigė 1936 m. rudenį, darbą pradėjus naujam Seimui. ENIt is the first-time publication of the minutes of the 27 August 1936 meeting of the Presidium of the Third Seimas of Lithuania that was in operation in 1926-1927, which have not been in the focus of attention to this day. Whereas after the dissolution of the Third Seimas of Lithuania in April 1927, a new Seimas was not elected for as many as nine years, the Presidium of the Third Seimas of Lithuania, following the provisions of the Seimas, considered itself legitimate in the inter-parliamentary period (1927-1936) and completed its activities in autumn 1936 when the Seimas gathered for a new term of office. The published document provides a comprehensive view about the relationship between the authoritarian Lithuanian government of that time and the Presidium of the Third Seimas of Lithuania, the government's approach to parliamentarism in the inter-parliamentary period.
