Summary / Abstract:

ENThe object of this investigation is the education of 6-year old children's learning motivation, the purpose is to determine the peculiarities of 6-yer's children's learning motivation and to disclose the connection with social pedagogical characteristics of the family: parents' age, education, learning experience, financial conditions, the style of child's upbringing, the style of personal contact with a child, the emphasis on learning importance, interest, and kindness of a teacher. Half-standardized questionnaire was used for this investigation. 6-year's children's teaming motivation and the peculiarities of education of learning motivation were determined by using the responses of parents who at the time of the survey had 6-year's children. 239 respondents took part in the investigation. The results of the survey showed that learning motivation was developing successfully for the most of 6-year's children: they were interested in learning, wanted to go to school, also enjoyed reading, writing, and counting. There were, however, a small number of children who didn't want to go to school, were not interested in learning, didn't enjoy and even didn't try to read, write, and count. As it turned out, that the dialog about learning between parents and children, also the emphasis of teachers' kindness is very important while educating children's learning motivation.Such social pedagogical characteristics of the family as parents' education, the style of child's education in the family, parents' attitude to school, the emphasis of learning importance and interest, prepossession for meeting with teachers can influence children's positive education of learning motivation. We didn't manage to determine the connection between 6-year's children's education of learning motivation and such family's characteristics as parents' age, their learning experience, and family's circumstances.
