LTStraipsnyje išnagrinėta Lietuvos alaus pramonės būklė, išanalizuotos priežastys, skatinančios aludarius gerinti alaus kokybę, gaminti naujus produktus ir didinti gamybos apimtis. Išanalizuotos didžiosios Lietuvos alaus gamybos įmonės, atskleista jų specifika ir atliktas jų tarpusavio palyginimas. Atliktas alaus rinkos vertinimas, apžvelgtas alaus eksportas ir importas. Iškeltos pagrindinės problemos ir nurodyti svarbiausi reikalavimai Lietuvos alaus gamybos įmonėms bei pagrindiniai strateginiai tikslai Lietuvos alaus pramonei. ENThe conditions of Lithuanian beer industry, reasons for improvement of quality, expanding number of sorts and production volumes of beer are analyzed in the article. The peculiarities of breweries were revealed using the following research methods: data analysis and forecast, comparative analysis, generalization, seeking for consistent patterns, idea generation. The benchmarking of breweries was performed. The financial indictors for 2005 year were estimated: "Švyturys-Utenos alus" ruled by Scandinavian combine "BBH" had net profit -78,822 million Litas, "Kalnapilio-Tauro" breweries group ruled by Danish combine "The Royal Unibrew" - 3,498 million Litas, Kaunas "Ragutis" ruled by Finish company "Olvi" had a loss total 6,13 million Litas. Beer market is not a monopoly, though the obvious market leader is "Švyturio-Utenos alus" brewery, capturing 48,4 % of Lithuanian beer market. It was calculated that during 2005 year 300,43 million liters of beer were sold and the use per Lithuanian resident was the biggest during the history - 87,5 liters. The import of beer was 10 % of all beer used in Lithuanian market, while export of Lithuanian beer reached 5 % of all produced beer by Lithuanian breweries. The requirements for competitiveness of Lithuanian beer were enumerated. [From the publication]
