Lietuvos Didžiajai Kunigaikštystei priklausiusių žemių "veidrodžiai": du neskelbti XVII a. pirmos pusės žemėvaldos žemėlapiai

LTSkelbiami ir nagrinėjami du XVII a. pirmos pusės dabartinės Ukrainos teritorijos Vinicos srities teritorijos žemėlapiai, kuriuose pavaizduotos nustatytos privačių valdų ribos. Ši teritorija iki 1569 m. priklausė LDK, vėliau – Lenkijai. Žemėlapiuose fiksuotos erdvinės struktūros detalės yra aktualios įvairiuose LDK istorinės geografijos tyrimuose ir naudotinos retrospektyviai arba lyginamuoju aspektu. ENHistoriography has witnessed a broad development in the research studies of historical geography of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL). Recently, more research studies of Lithuania’s and GDL territory and its old cartography reproductions appeared. Sometimes researchers succeed in finding unknown or obscure maps in the archives, which are an extremely valuable source to the historians and cartographers, aiming to explore the perception of space and its depiction by the people of those times, and the conception of territorial colonization. This paper is a publication and analysis of two maps from the first half of the 17th century representing the present-day Ukrainian territory in Vinnytsia province Kalynivskyi, Vinnytskyi and Lipovetskyi districts. Fixed and marked private domain party lines are represented in these maps. All depicted lands belonged to the GDL until 1569; they passed to the Polish rule afterwards. Both maps are from the Manuscript Department of the Vilnius University Library. They are the unique documents of the GDL historical geography – the visual representation of spatial structure of the former settlements, their distribution and communication between them. The symbols and records used in those maps let us sense and find the basic realia and explore the latitudinal perception. [From the publication]
