Dėstytojų naudojami metodai, skatinantys studentų praktinį dėstomo dalyko suvokimą

LTNepriklausomai nuo to, kokios srities dalykas dėstomas, kiekvienam dėstytojui kyla probleminis klausimas - kaip pateikti ir perteikti dėstomą dalyką kaip padėti studentui kuo geriau jį suvokti, perimti ir vėliau profesiniame gyvenime tinkamai panaudoti įgytas žinias. Kitaip tariant, kyla probleminis klausimas, kokius dėstymo metodus taikyti, kad išdėstyta informacija pasiektų studentą. Siekiant atsakyti į šį klausimą, Klaipėdos verslo aukštojoje mokykloje buvo atliktas tyrimas apie dėstytojų naudojamus metodus, skatinančius teisės studentų praktinį dėstomų disciplinų suvokimą. Studentų atsakymai rodo, kad, nepaisant pastaruoju dešimtmečiu išaugusios dėstymo metodų įvairovės, paskaitos ir praktiniai užsiėmimai tebelieka dominuojančiais teisės disciplinų dėstymo metodais. Daugelio respondentų nuomone, dėstomą atskirų teisės disciplinų teoriją būtina derinti su teisės normų taikymu praktikoje ir tik tokiu būdu galima pasiekti aukštą teisės studijų kokybę. ENMajor changes occurred in the area of teaching law in Lithuanian higher schools during the last decade. Higher schools focus on the main question - teaching quality. Instead of simple traditional teaching methods (oral lectures and control paper works) new and active, and so called innovative teaching methods, such as discussions, group work, dispute, framing-up trials, visiting court trials, invitation of highly qualified professionals as guest lecturers, in order to achieve as high teaching quality as it is possible. Study programmes, teaching methods, and assessment procedures experienced by students determine education environment and learning context. It is cast-iron excuse to think that the one teaching and assessment methods arc better then the others. Different students' learning practices determine adequate learning quality; different teaching experience may explain differences in learning practices. Appearance of complains concerning teaching quality indirectly motivates the critique of teaching methods. Recently the questions of higher education quality are widely publicly discussed in Lithuania. One of the criteria of qualitative higher education is the compatibility of professional training and labour market demands. The problem question is what teaching methods have to be used to make the information understandable and acceptable to students? In order to answer the question there was carried out a survey in Klaipeda Business School to find out the teaching methods lecturers apply to stimulate law students' practical understanding of different subjects. The survey results show, that lectures and seminars arc still the most popular teaching methods applied in legal studies. According the results, legal theory and practical application have to be combined in teaching process. That is the way to achieved high quality in teaching the legal subjects. [From the publication]
