Klasteriai: raktas į regionų konkurencingumo didinimą
LTLietuvoje, kaip ir daugelyje kitų pasaulio šalių atskiri regionai ekonomiškai ir socialiai išsivystę nevienodai, todėl, integruojantis į Europos Sąjungą, būtina užtikrinti, kad visi regionai būtų konkurencingi ir galėtų orientuotis į pasaulines rinkas. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos klasterių teorijos panaudojimo galimybės didinant regionų konkurencingumą ir plėtojant ekonomiką. Remiantis čia pasiūlytu regionų konkurencingumo didinimo klasterių teorijos pagrindu modeliu, siūloma regionų konkurencingumo didinimo strategija Lietuvoje bei apžvelgiamos modelio praktinio pritaikymo Lietuvos regionams prielaidos.
ENThe latest economic theory - the clusters theory is combining together the partnership and competition among clusters' companies and the regional development. Cluster based economic development - the key to regional competitiveness. An industrial cluster is a geographic concentration of competitive firms or establishments in the same industry that either have close buy-sell relationships with other industries in the region, use common technologies or share a specialised labour pool that provides firms with a competitive advantage over the same industry in other places. The cluster framework can be a valuable tool for effective economic change because it is market driven, inclusive, collaborative, strategic and value-creating. Cluster Based Regional Competitiveness Development Model has five stages: mobilisation, cluster development, diagnosis, collaborative strategy and implementation. The cluster- based approach can increase regional competitiveness and speed up economic development.
