Radvilų rezidencijos Dubingių piliavietėje tyrimai

LTDubingių piliavietė archeologiškai tyrinėjama jau keleri metai. Pastaruoju metu ši vieta ir jos tyrimai sulaukė didelio visuomenės susidomėjimo, nes 2004 m. vasarą rasti palaidojimai greičiausiai yra vienų iš įžymiausių Radvilų giminės atstovų, palikusių ryškų pėdsaką Lietuvos ir aplinkinių kraštų XVI-XVII a. istorijoje. Straipsnyje apžvelgiama Dubingių piliavietės istoriją, paskutiniųjų metų archeologinių tyrimų rezultatai, antropologinių tyrimų duomenys, aptariamos tolesnio spėjamų Radvilų palaikų identifikavimo kryptys. Atlikti provizoriniai trijų kaukolių sugretinimai su turima ikonografija bei istorinių duomenų ir rastų bei tirtų kaulų savybių sutapimai jau leidžia teigti, kad tarp palaidotųjų yra: 1) Mikalojus Radvila Juodasis, 2) Elžbieta Šidlovecka-Radvilienė, Mikalojaus Radvilos Juodojo žmona ir 3) Jonušas VI Radvila. Šie rezultatai, nors ir labai argumentuotai paremiantys archeologų prielaidas, nėra galutiniai ir turi būti tikslinami. ENThe mound of Dubingiai has been researched archeologically for already several years. Lately the location and its studies attained significant interest from the society, since the entombments, discovered in Summer of 2004, are most likely those of the most famous representatives of the Radziwill family, who left a prominent trace in the history of Lithuania and the surrounding areas in the 16th – 17th centuries. The article provides an overview of the history of the mound of Dubingiai, the results of the archeological researches of the later years, the data of anthropological studies and discusses the directions of the further identification of the alleged remains of the representatives of the Radziwill family. Provisory comparisons of three skulls with the available iconography and the coincidences of the historical data and the characteristics of the found and examined bones already allow for stating that the following persons are among the buried ones: 1) Mikolaj “the Black” Radziwill, 2) Elzbieta Szydlowiecka – Radziwill, the wife of Mikolaj “the Black” Radziwill and 3) Janusz Radziwill VI. The said results base the archeologists’ presumptions in a quite arguable way, are not final and must be clarified therefore the works on identification are continued.
