LTStraipsnyje analizuojamas klasikinis mišrus mokymasis, kuris leidžia derinti mokymąsi internete ir auditorijoje. Tyrimas, pristatomas straipsnyje, analizuoja studentų požiūrį į anglų kalbos mokymo seminarų internetinių užduočių integravimą; požiūriui ištirti buvo parengtas specialus klausimynas. Tyrimo respondentai yra trijų skirtingų specialybių studentai, kurie mokosi profesinės anglų kalbos. Teigiamų ir neigiamų atsakymų dažniai analizuojami taikant kiekybinių tyrimų metodiką. Statistinis tyrimo duomenų apdorojimas, panaudojant socialinių mokslų statistinės analizės ir duomenų apdorojimo programinę įrangą (SPSS), leidžia nustatyti koreliacijos koeficientus, kurie parodo ryšių tarp teigiamų ir neigiamų atsakymų stiprumą ir jų statistinį reikšmingumą, tuo pačiu įgalina pagrįsti tyrimo patikimumą. ENConcept of "e-learning" is ambivalent. On one hand, it is used to describe the "distant learning", where the term refers to online courses. On the other hand, it refers to the "blended learning", where the term refers to the use of e-learning in traditional face-to-face classes. This article focuses on the classic "blended learning", which means the combination of face-to-face instructions with online activities. The object of the research is the use of e-learning in a traditional English language classroom. The study examines students’ attitudes to integrating online activities into the traditional English language seminars. The aims of the research are to identify students’ insights and their positions towards the blended learning. To carry out the research, certain methods are applied. First, an appropriate questionnaire is designed. During the questionnaire administration stage, the respondents are informed that a research is carried out to find out their insights into the blended learning, its benefits and also inhibition or negative attitudes. The respondents are the full-time university students of three different specializations, who study English for Specific Purposes. The fields the respondents are majoring in include English for Law, English for Law & Management and English for Social Work. Finally, the obtained responses are analyzed. The frequencies of positive and negative responses to a specially designed questionnaire are investigated and it is found that they depend on the students’ specialization, identifying different levels of the student positive approach and resistance towards e-learning. The students of different specializations demonstrate different insights and attitudes towards e-learning. Although students point out that e-learning is useful and enhances lifelong learning skills, not all the students enjoy e-learning in spite of its advantages. Negative attitudes might be expressed due to individual likes and dislikes. The statistical treatment of the students’ responses by means of Software Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) includes the computations of correlation coefficients, which indicate the strength of relationships, and their statistical significance. The estimated correlation coefficients reveal strong and reliable relationships between both positive and negative responses of the respondents. [From the publication]
