Aplinkosauginių vertybių puoselėjimas : gamtotvarkos vadybos studentų požiūris

LTŠiuolaikinė visuomenė yra diferencijuota pagal identiteto, pasaulėjautos, tikėjimo, kūrybos ir kitus požymius į didelę aibę bendruomenių, interesų grupių, institucijų. Kalbėti apie bendras kompetencijas tokiu atveju beveik netenka. Atskirų grupių gebėjimas kokybiškai, teisiškai formuluoti ir ginti viešojoje erdvėje savo ir bendrąjį požiūrį į pasaulį yra nevienodas. Skirtumus lemia išsilavinimas, kasdienių praktikų įvairovė, kolektyviniai, etniniai, politiniai stereotipai, finansinės galimybės, administraciniai ištekliai ir t. t. Dabar į pasaulį žvelgiama per naudos (ekonominę) prizmę, o racionalios mokslinės žinios, įsigalėjusios pasaulėžiūroje, pačios savaime nesudaro specifinio moralinio komponento, skatinančio individo dorovinį jautrumą, sąžiningumą ir asmeninę atsakomybę. Vis labiau pripažįstama, kad visų mūsų ekologinių sprendimų šaknys slypi ne tik žmogaus santykyje su gamta, o ir pačiame žmoguje, jo dvasios ir proto gelmėse, todėl ir visas dėmesys turi būti nukreiptas į žmogų. Straipsnyje pristatoma Šiaulių valstybinėje kolegijoje gamtotvarkos vadybą bestudijuojančių jaunuolių nuomonė apie šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje egzistuojančias aplinkosaugines (ekologines) vertybes. ENA modern society is differentiated according to identity, worldview, religion, art and other attributes to a large the set of communities, interest groups and institutions. Talking about the overall competence in this case is almost impossible. The abilities of different groups to high-quality, legally articulate and defend their general view to the world in a public sphere is uneven. These differences are determined by education, the variety of everyday practices, collective, ethnic, political stereotypes, financial possibilities, administrative resources and other factors. In present, the world is viewed through the prism of benefits (economic), rational scientific knowledge entrenched in the worldview; people themselves do not form a specific moral component that encourages individual to moral sensitivity, honesty and personal responsibility. It is increasingly acknowledged that all our environmental solutions are rooted in a human relationship with nature, and even the human himself, in his spirit and deep sense, therefore, all attention should be directed to the person. This paper focuses on the views about the modern society’s existing environmental values of students, who have studied nature management in Šiauliai State College. The aim of this paper is to investigate the opinions about the environmental values of full-time nature management students at Šiauliai State College. In order to achieve the following objectives were formulated: to assess students' opinions distribution about the ecological values and to determine students' views towards environmental education. The objective is to reveal the awareness of nature management students, their personal views using a qualitative research method (semi-structured extended interviews). Ten students studying for the first – third years were selected randomly and interviewed.The investigation revealed that Šiauliai State Colleges’ environmental management full-time first – third year students assessed as the environmental values as a human moral, behavioural, cultural indicator. Despite the fact that each student had his own opinion about the environmental values enhancement, two main opinions groups were distinguished. The first group combined students' opinions that any environmental values in the modern world did not exist anymore. Other students claimed that nowadays environmental values were left and hidden behind the economic benefits. There was no doubt that the enhancement of environmental values was influenced by environmental education. The most of students emphasised that such a process existed. However, they saw a number of weaknesses that prevented achieving the desired results. First, it was based on formed appropriate conditions for each individual to obtain and understand the information on his knowledge level. Students emphasized that ecological awareness in the society would not be visible until human being did not begin to take interest in natural environment surroundings. [From the publication]
