ENThe present article examines the motivation in the choice of different specialities, which have been studied by the graduates of Vilnius Cooperative College and the Siauliai State College Health Care Faculty, and the relevance of these specialities as well as their career perspectives in today‘s work market. This examination was carried out on the basis of the previous research. It turned out that graduates appreciate the professional skills acquired during the course of professional field experience. In addition to this, graduates express their requests, which also contribute to their successful integration into the work market. Thus the relevance of the integration into the work market triggered the present analysis, which examined this year students‘ attitudes and opinions regarding the integration into the work market, the relevance of their chosen speciality in today‘s work market, the required assistance, which would increase the possibilities of finding a job position and, finally, their intention to study at universities etc. [From the publication]
