ENThe aim of this article is to investigate the material level of three J. Biliūnas stories (one is almost first his work, the second differs with the theme of workers' and the third one is the best and the last story of this writer): to survey the stylistic devices, features of vocabulary, morphology, connection of sentences ant text etc. The research demonstrates the names of characters, the epithet scary a lot of information, the chain connection between sentences is used most often, the repetition (of words, situations) and parallel between nature and a human being are frequent stylistic devices of syntax. The totality of all these means compose the individual style of J. Biliūnas. [text from author]
