Wolfenbiittelio postilė : recenzija

LTRecenzijoje aptariamas 1995 metais išleistas seniausias iki šiol žinomas lietuviškų pamokslų rinkinys – „Išguldymas evangelijų per visus metus“, vadinamoji „Wolfenbiittelio postilė“ (1573). Ši postilė yra vienas svarbiausių lietuvių kultūros ir rašomosios kalbos faktų, sudariusių sąlygas kitam žingsniui – Biblijos vertimui. Rankraštis nei XVI amžiuje, nei vėliau nebuvo išspausdintas. Juozo Karaciejaus parengtas leidimas atkuria transkripcinį postilės teksto variantą. Rengėjas nėra susipažinęs su originaliu rankraščiu. Recenzijoje plačiau aptariamas rankraštinis teksto variantas, postilės lietuviško teksto rašybos ypatybės. Pastebima, kad recenzuojamo leidinio parengėjas stengėsi išlaikyti autentišką rankraštinio teksto rašybą. Tačiau Karaciejaus transkribuotas tekstas yra postilės perrašas. Kadangi mikrofišoje ir atspaude dažnai nematyti visų teksto paraščių, parengėjui reikėjo tam tikrais atvejais tekstą atstatyti. Tad leidinys nėra patikimas rankraščio atspindys. Todėl Wolfenbüttelio Hercogo Augusto biblioteka, Frankfurto prie Maino Johanno Wolfgango Goethe’s universitetas, Vilniaus universitetas ir Lietuvių kalbos institutas parengė tarptautinį projektą. Pagal jį turėtų būti išleista „Wolfenbüttelio postilės“ rankraščio faksimilė bei elektroninis teksto variantas. ENThe review discusses the oldest to date known collection of Lithuanian sermons “Išguldymas evangelijų per visus metus” [An Explanation of the Gospels throughout the Whole Year], or Wolfenbütteler Postille (1573), published in 1995. This postille is one of the most important facts of Lithuanian culture and written word, which preconditioned another step, i.e. the translation of the Bible. The manuscript was neither published in the 16th c. nor later. The edition prepared by Juozas Karaciejus recreates the transcription variant of the postille text. The compiler has not seen the original manuscript. The review more widely discusses the manuscript variant of the text and the peculiarities of orthography of the Lithuanian text of postille. The compiler tried to retain the authentic orthography of the manuscript. However, the text transcribed by Karaciejus is the transcription of the postille. Since not all text margins are visible in the microfiche and reprint, the compiler had to recreate the text in some instances. Thus, the publication is not a reliable reflection of the manuscript. Therefore, the Library of Duke August of Wolfenbütteler, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main, Vilnius University and the Institute of the Lithuanian Language initiated an international project. The project envisaged the publication of the facsimile of the Wolfenbütteler Postille manuscript and the electronic version of the text. This postille, being an important fact of the history and culture of Lithuania Minor and Lithuania in general, should receive particular attention from linguists, historians, theologians and literary scientists.
