LTSveikas studentas geriau mokosi. Visapusiškam lavinimuisi priklauso ir dvasinis ugdymas, taikant formalias bei neformalias programas aukštosiose mokyklose. Vilniaus akademinės sielovados centro socialinių darbuotojų 2001–2002 m. atlikta bendrabučių gyventojų apklausa rodo, kad studentai netvarka, nešvara, triukšmu skundžiasi labiau negu finansinėmis problemomis. Pageidaujamos psichologinės, socialinės ir teisinės paslaugos. Kai kurie studentai dalyvautų pasirenkamuose dvasingumo ugdymo kursuose, rekolekcijose, stovyklose, religinio pobūdžio būreliuose. ENCampus ministry in Lithuania is developing into a network of small Christian groups at higher education institutes, while formal religious assistance is still minimal. A sociological survey conducted recently in student residences shows their main concerns: cleanliness, healthy atmosphere, noise abatement and privacy. Asked how information about student services and activities reaches them, a third list word of mouth and a third read bulletin boards. Women, more than men, would make use of psychological, social and legal counselling. Campus ministry activities would have a hearing of 34 percent in discussion clubs, 16 percent in retreats, 12 in formal Christian spirituality courses, smaller percentages in prayer or Bible study groups. Given that a healthy student makes better progress, both universities and churches can assist the student body, faculty and staff with such programs and services. [From the publication]
