LTDokumentų rinkinyje publikuojami Suvalkijoje veikusių partizanų Tauro apygardos 1945-1952 m. dokumentai. Rinkinys pradedamas įvadiniu straipsniu, kuriame išsamiai apžvelgiama istoriografija, memuaristinė literatūra apie šios apygardos organizacinę struktūrą, partizanų veiklą, dokumentų istorija (apygardos štabo dokumentų bylą sudarė patys KGB darbuotojai, rinktinių bylas suformavo partizanų rinktinių štabų pareigūnai). Rinkinį sudaro Tauro apygardos ir rinktinių vadų įsakymai, raštai, laiškai, rinktinių struktūrinių padalinių vadų raportai, instrukcijos, susirinkimų ir posėdžių protokolai ir kt. Jie atspindi apygardos ir rinktinių organizavimą, jų politinę ir ideologinę veiklą, dislokavimą, kovines operacijas, jų metu patirtus nuostolius. Rinkinio sudarytojai pateikė informaciją apie Tauro apygardos ir kai kurių rinktinių (Žalgirio, Geležinio Vilko ir Vytauto) vadus, pavardžių rodyklėje identifikavo kai kuriuos asmenis, dokumentuose minimus tik slapyvardžiais. Dokumentai atskleidžia svarbiausius laisvės kovų Suvalkijoje ir visoje Lietuvoje įvykius, atspindi partizaninio judėjimo dinamiką bei rezultatus.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Antisovietinis pasipriešinimas; Tauro partizanų apygarda.

ENThe collection of documents provides the documents of the Tauras Squad of the guerillas, who operated in Suvalkija during the time period of 1945-1952. The collection is started with a preface, which provides a comprehensive overview of the historiography, the memoir literature on the organizational structure of the squad, the activities of the guerillas, the history of documents (the file of the documents of the headquarters of the squad was compiled by the employees of the KGB, the files of the squads were compiled by the officers of the headquarters of the guerilla squads). The collection includes the orders and letters of the leaders of the Tauras squads, the reports of leaders of structural units of the squads, instructions, minutes of meetings, etc.. The said documents reflect the organization of the squads, their political and ideological activities, their location, military operations and the losses, incurred during the said operations. The compilers of the collection provided information on the leaders of the Tauras and other squads (Žalgiris, Geležinis Vilkas and Vytautas), identified certain persons in the name index, which are mentioned only by nicknames in the documents. The documents reveal the most important events of the fights for freedom in Suvalkija and the entire Lithuania and reflect the dynamics and results of the guerilla movement.
